IT Field Engineer - Nationwide

• Visiting schools across England to provide onsite IT support, maintenance, and installation
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues on-site
• Supporting and maintaining school infrastructure (Wi-Fi, servers, switches, cabling)
• Assisting in project work (e.g. network upgrades, new school setups, cloud migrations)
• Building strong, trusted relationships with school staff, from IT co-ordinators to headteachers
• Collaborating with our internal service desk and project teams to ensure a joined-up experience
• Keeping accurate documentation and logs via our service systems

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Microsoft Windows Server?, * Previous experience in a field-based IT support or infrastructure role

• Confident with Windows Server, Active Directory, networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Comfortable working independently
• A great communicator who can explain tech in plain English
• Enthusiastic about supporting schools and improving education through tech
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel nationwide
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), and AV setups
• Any relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.)
