Software Developer (ProClaim)

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to develop, maintain and continuously improve our ProClaim Case Management System.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring processes are efficient, accurate and aligned with operational needs. This role will safeguard system integrity through effective change management processes and proactive stakeholder management. It owns the operational relationship with the software provider, ensuring the system remains secure, up to date and fit for purpose.

What you'll be doing

• Maintain ownership of the ProClaim system and manage the relationship with the software provider including contract and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain and optimise workflows within the ProClaim CMS.
• Configure, develop and implement new workflows including full ownership of UAT processes.
• Carry out bulk updates to matters including letter template changes, fee earner updates and file closures.
• Manage system user permissions and access controls.
• Maintain data validation processes and quality control checks.
• Maintain and monitor the ProClaim task server.
• Maintain detailed documentation related to system changes, configuration, workflows and process mapping.
• Lead change management processes in collaboration with stakeholders for system updates and configuration changes.
• Provide clear communication and stakeholder management regarding system changes and updates.
• Diagnose and resolve system related user issues.
• Liaise with third parties, including software providers to coordinate external system support.
• Maintain MI reporting functionality, including advanced reporting and SQL queries.
• Support the implementation of new systems and contribute to the wider IT and business continuous improvement initiatives.

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Proven experience with ProClaim, including maintaining, configuring and developing the platform to suit operational needs.

• Strong understanding of system change controls ensuring all update are managed, documented and governed effectively.
• Solid database management skills with the ability to produce reports and insights using SQL.
• Advanced analytical and data manipulation abilities with a focus on accuracy.
• Able to collaborate effectively within a team whilst managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to influence and translate technical concepts clearly.
• Exceptional attention to detail maintaining accuracy whilst working at pace.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise in a dynamic environment.
• Committed to good governance, continuous improvement and delivering operational excellence.
