Job description
Working as a Senior Data Analyst here would give you the opportunity to help us achieve Barnardo's mission by exercising responsible stewardship over our analytical output and enabling our colleagues to make well-informed decisions. You will:
- Develop our existing Power BI suite to better serve the needs of our stakeholders.
- Review and feed back on the work of other analysts, setting the standard for what good looks like.
- Establish and disseminate best practice in the team and beyond.
- Conduct and advise on pieces of analysis in all domains.
- Present and communicate results to stakeholders, taking their feedback on board., * Access to great learning and development opportunities. Many analysts here have undertaken formal training courses in chosen areas of interest.
- Opportunities to support a wide range of functional areas with really varied tasks. Our work supports influencing campaigns that are taken to government, retail stores, finance, children's services and beyond.

Requirements
- 3 years' Power BI experience. Especially developing models, writing measures and calculated columns, and working with deployment pipelines.
- 3 years' experience in analytical roles.
- Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, R, SQL).
- Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities either from experience or higher education.
- Great communication, written and verbal, with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and technical expertise.
- Experience providing feedback on analytical work to both aid development and establish best practice.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Someone passionate about Barnardo's mission.
- Desirable: someone who has worked with Microsoft Fabric.
