Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Architect - Solutions Design and Strategy Location: Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Hybrid working with 3 days onsite. Type: Contract, Inside IR35 - Umbrella/PAYE Duration: 8 Months
We are looking for an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-level AEM solutions. This is a key role where you'll shape architecture, guide technical strategy, and drive innovation across major digital transformation projects.
Key deliverables for the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Architect:
- Architect and implement scalable AEM solutions for web content management and digital experiences.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams on AEM best practices.
- Translate business needs into robust technical specifications and architectures.
- Lead migration from Legacy CMS platforms to AEM.
- Define and maintain architecture standards, documentation, and DevOps practices.
- Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and scalability requirements.
- Integrate AEM with enterprise platforms like CRM, DAM, and marketing automation tools.
Key experience for the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Architect:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience architecting and implementing AEM solutions.
- Knowledge and experience of AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and integrations.
- Expertise in Java, JCR, Sling, OSGi, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud-based AEM deployments (Adobe Managed Services).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Agile development experience.
- Experience of Enterprise scale Solutions Architecture and high level solution designs
- Experience of driving strategic direction
- Experience architecting solutions at a Global Scale in complex environments with multuiple Products and workstreams.
Nice to have experience for the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Architect:
- Adobe Certified Expert (AEM Architect/Developer).
- Experience with modern Front End frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Familiarity with Adobe Marketing Cloud suite.
