Job description

In this role, you will:

  • Design, build, and maintain modern frontend features across our core web applications and interfaces
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineering to deliver intuitive, performant user experiences
  • Take ownership of key frontend components and contribute to architectural decisions
  • Develop and iterate on full-stack features, using TypeScript across the stack and Next.js on the frontend
  • Shape the look, feel, and functionality of data-intensive tools that empower users to understand and reduce their emissions

This role is part of the Engineering team - a group focused on building scalable infrastructure for carbon intelligence, working closely with product managers and climate scientists., * Frontend & Backend: TypeScript on both the frontend (React) and the backend (NextJS), and Rust for our Core API.

Requirements

Role Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building frontend and full-stack applications, ideally in SaaS environments
  • 3+ years of production experience with TypeScript and Next.js, building and maintaining full-featured web applications
  • Proficiency in RESTful API integration, state management, and component-based UI architecture
  • Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar databases
  • Familiarity with Rust and/or AWS infrastructure is a plus
  • Structured, outcome-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Self-driven and comfortable working autonomously in a distributed team setting
