Job description
As a Software Engineer (AI Engineering), you will be part of a team responsible for designing and implementing agent-ready systems and developer tools. You'll write production-grade software that enables safe, scalable, and AI-augmented engineering.
Some of the great things you'll do:
- Build and maintain services that support AI agent interaction
- Apply GenAI to modernise, refactor, and accelerate legacy systems
- Implement APIs, contracts, and metadata aligned with the Model Context Protocol
- Contribute to internal tooling that supports AI-native SDLC workflows
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and incident response
What we'd like to see from you:
- Strong backend development experience
- Familiarity with or eagerness to learn:
o Model Context Protocol for managing context and tool interfaces for agents o LLM integration patterns including prompt orchestration and tool calling o Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for dynamic context injection o GenAI-enhanced development tools and frameworks such as Cursor, Unblocked.
