SC Cleared - Full Stack Engineer (Java/React)

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer. The role focuses on building scalable Back End services and modern Front End applications within an AWS-based microservices architecture.

This is a hands-on contract position requiring strong experience across Java/Spring Boot on the Back End, React/Next.js on the Front End, and AWS cloud services, operating within a modern containerised and CI/CD-driven environment., * Develop scalable Back End services using Java and Spring Boot

• Build Front End applications using React and Next.js
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Contribute to microservices and distributed systems architecture
• Deploy and manage applications within AWS cloud environments
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerised deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product and DevOps
• Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices
• Support greenfield development from design through production release

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience building Front End applications using React (Next.js preferred)
• Proven AWS cloud experience
• Strong understanding of API development and microservices architecture
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working within distributed, remote engineering teams

Desirable

• Experience in greenfield product development
• Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience
• Strong understanding of cloud-native design principles
