Business Systems Manager

As the Business Systems Manager at Ecolution Group, you will be the primary architect of our digital transformation. Through the power of Power BI, you will turn data into a competitive advantage, providing the insights necessary to optimise operations, increase profitability, and cement Ecolution's position as a technology-led leader in the renewable energy sector., * System Architecture & Strategy: Lead the continuous improvement of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem, ensuring deep integration between Field Service, Business Central, and Sales Hub.

• Automation for Efficiency: Design and implement automated workflows (via Power Automate) for D365 to reduce administrative burdens in the field and office, from assisted job scheduling to instant compliance certificate generation.
• Development & Configuration: Build and maintain custom Power Apps and Power Automate flows to digitise manual processes and improve data accuracy from the field.
• Power BI & Data Analytics: Design, build, and maintain sophisticated Power BI dashboards to track KPIs, engineer productivity, and asset performance.
• Data-Driven Reporting: Provide the business with the ability to "tell the story" of our data, creating automated reports that help us manage our contracts with Housing Associations and Local Authorities more effectively
• Field Service Optimisation: Manage and refine the Dynamics 365 Field Service module to optimise scheduling, asset management for renewable technologies, and real-time reporting for engineers.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the bridge between technical capabilities and business needs; scoping new requirements from department heads and translating them into functional system features.
• 3rd Party Supplier Management: Act as the primary technical liaison for our Microsoft Partners and third-party software vendors. You will manage support tickets, oversee project-based work from external consultants, and ensure third-party add-ons (ISVs) deliver value.
• Client Portals: Develop and oversee Microsoft Power Pages/Customer Portals leveraging Dynamics 365 to allow our HA/LA clients to view real-time compliance data and job progress.
• Data Integrity & Reporting: Ensure robust data architecture across all Business Units (BUs) within the Dynamics 365 platform and create high-level BI reporting for the executive team.
• System Maintenance: Oversee regular Dynamics 365 updates, manage licenses, and provide high-level troubleshooting and training for internal users.
• Future-Proofing: Explore and implement AI-driven features (such as Microsoft Copilot) within Dynamics 365 to further enhance engineer productivity and data analysis.

Do you have experience in Sales?, * Core Platforms: Extensive experience managing Dynamics 365 Field Service, Sales Hub and Business Central is essential.

• Data & BI: Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and the ability to visualise complex maintenance and financial data.
• Development: Proficiency in the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of Sales Hub and Customer Service modules.
• Technical Scoping: Proven ability to take a business problem and "scope" a technical solution from scratch.
• Industry Context: Experience in field service sectors (Renewables, Construction, or Social Housing) is a significant advantage.
• Soft Skills: A rare blend of technical "builder" mentality and the communication skills to train and influence non-technical staff.
• Prioritisation & Time Management: Proven ability to manage a demanding workload, prioritise tasks effectively (especially urgent SLAs), and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) for clear and professional interaction with both internal staff (engineers, account managers) and external client contacts.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive and strategic problem-solving skills., * Microsoft Certifications: Ideally holding certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) or Dynamics 365 Field Service Functional Consultant Associate (MB-240). Proficient IT skills are essential, including in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Educational Background: A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent high-level commercial experience).
• Familiarity with SQL or Azure (desirable but not essential) for deeper data manipulation.
• Strong understanding of Dataverse and environment management.
• Knowledge of Power Pages (Customer Portals) for external client reporting.
