Job description
As a Senior JAVA developer, you will be involved in new and ongoing projects within large development teams to improve efficiency and deliverables. You will join a strategic programme aimed at the complete rewrite of a critical monolithic application - comparable to a banking platform (managing payments, accounts, and reimbursements) combined with an accounting system - into a modern, modular, and scalable microservices architecture., * The developer will join one of the key priority groups: accounting management, transaction and order management, rules management, or interface management.
- Actively participate in the Scrum team's dynamics and develop features based on prior functional and technical analysis.
- Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Work in continuous collaboration with the functional analyst and testers from the beginning of each story.
- Demonstrate strong anticipation skills, ensure smooth inter-team communication, organizational flexibility, commitment to quality and maintain a high level of technical rigor.
- As a Senior Consultant, actively transfer knowledge to junior collaborators
Requirements
Do you have experience in XML?, * Java (advanced development expertise), REST APIs (including BelgIF standards), asynchronous messaging (Command/Reply & Event-driven architectures), Spring Boot and Angular
- DB2 and SQL
- DevOps tools & platforms: Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Vault, GitLab, Git, Agile SCRUM methodology
- Operating systems: Windows & Linux
- UML, and data formats JSON & XML
- Fluent in French or Dutch + very good English
Very useful experience:
- WebLogic, ELK, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)
- Intellij, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, NetBean, Github, fisheye, ActiveMQ, Cucumber,etc..
