Job description
We're looking for a Group Metadata Specialist to help drive the adoption, use and ongoing evolution of the Collibra Data Catalog across Aviva Group. Sitting within the central Group Chief Data Office, you'll work with teams across the business to embed effective metadata management practices and ensure Collibra becomes a core, trusted Enterprise Data Management capability.

If you enjoy solving complex metadata challenges, influencing best practice, and helping a large organisation unlock meaningful value from its data tools - this role is for you., You'll help stakeholders understand their metadata needs, configure Collibra solutions that align to enterprise standards, and bring clarity to how metadata supports Aviva's wider data strategy. This is a role with real organisational influence - helping the business maximise the value, quality and accessibility of its data., * Advanced, hands-on experience with Collibra Data Catalog, including metamodels, asset configuration and supporting complex user requirements.
- Experience designing and building Collibra Workflows, ideally including custom workflows using Groovy and BPMN 2.0.
- Strong understanding of Collibra's grants and permissions model, plus experience coordinating access, roles and API-based integrations.
- Clear conceptual understanding of different metadata types (physical, logical, conceptual or business, technical) and when to apply each.
- Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, champion metadata best practice and support adoption of metadata management capabilities; from your experience as a metadata SME, specialist, consultant or manager.
Benefits & conditions
Salary: Circa £70,000 London - Circa £65,000 National.
