Job description
- Design and develop SIP/IMS and converged SIP+HTTP applications on OCCAS using SIP Servlets, Java EE, and related components ( EJBs, web apps).
- Build integrations with network elements (SBCs, CSCF) and enterprise systems (REST/HTTP, messaging, databases, OSS/BSS).
- Contribute to WebLogic-based deployments/configuration where applicable.
- Delivery & consulting: Own features from definition to production readiness; manage dependencies/risks; support deployment, tuning, RCA, and complex issue resolution; contribute to estimation/release planning; provide domain expertise for customer engagements and business development.
Requirements
- Strong experience building production systems in Java / Java EE (code reviews, unit/integration testing, CI/CD).
- Voice application development using SIP Servlets (JSR 289).
- Expert knowledge of SIP (RFC 3261) and related RFCs; familiarity with telecom signalling in voice networks.
- Experience designing solutions and translating requirements into robust architectures.
- Understanding of networking and distributed systems (TCP/UDP, TLS, LB, resiliency).
- Agile delivery experience; strong written/spoken English and customer-facing skills.
Desirable
- Direct experience with OCCAS (or similar converged/SIP app servers).
- Web and EJB development skills using WebLogic
- Performance engineering (profiling, capacity, latency, tuning).
- Containers/automation (Docker/Kubernetes), CI tooling (e.g., Jenkins), observability (logs/metrics/traces).
- Scripting/other languages (Python/Perl/Lua/C++); Git/Subversion.
- Oracle session delivery / SBC experience; DevOps practices.
