Job description

Do you want to make AI safe, compliant, and ethical while building a new focus area? As AI Governance Manager, you will be the driving force behind our AI Governance focus area within the Data Governance practice. You combine deep expertise in Responsible AI with strategic leadership: setting the vision, developing offerings, and helping clients adopt AI in a trustworthy way., AI Governance Expertise:

  • Develop and implement AI governance strategies aligned with EU AI Act, GDPR, and industry regulations.
  • Integrate governance principles into AI design and development (risk taxonomy, model registry, monitoring).
  • Assess fairness, explainability, robustness, and bias in AI models.
  • Advise stakeholders on best practices and compliance standards.
  • Act as a thought leader, sharing insights and trends on Responsible AI.

Focus Area Leadership:

  • Lead and grow the AI Governance focus area within our Data Governance practice.
  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for AI Governance services.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; act as a trusted advisor.
  • Ensure quality and client satisfaction across all AI Governance engagements.
  • Inspire and coach consultants on governance topics.
  • Contribute to Datashift's strategic direction and expand our AI Governance offering.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Leadership?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in data/AI, including 3+ years in AI governance or risk/compliance.
  • Proven experience in building or growing a service offering or business unit.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills (English required; Dutch or French is a plus).
