As an Automation Engineer in the IT Agile Production Services (TechEx) tribe, you will design, implement, and optimize automated solutions to enhance the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our mission-critical IT infrastructure., You will join a dynamic team of 20+ subject matter experts based at our Brussels HQ (Montagne du Parc), where innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence drive our mission to deliver seamless banking experiences.

Technology Referent - more detailed responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions for IT Operations processes, covering DevOps, Security, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and GitOps.
- Partner with IT Operations teams to assess automation needs, identify optimization opportunities, and define project priorities.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows using Ansible, GitLab CI, and other relevant tools.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure scalable and consistent environments.
- Ensure quality and reliability by rigorously testing, validating, and documenting automation solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve automation-related issues to maintain operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the definition of automation standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Align automation initiatives with organizational goals by collaborating with cross-functional teams., You can become a member of internal networks made up of people who are united around common causes, commitments or passions.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team, with responsibility for automating IT Operations processes using technologies such as Ansible, GitLab, GitLab CI, and Terraform. The ideal candidate will bring a strong automation background, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with IT Operations teams., * Proven experience with automation tools: Ansible, GitLab CI, and Terraform.
- Deep understanding of DevOps, Security, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and GitOps principles.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (cloud environments), monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace), and Incident/Problem Management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) - prior expertise required.
- Hands-on experience in automation (3+ years), preferably in IT Operations or SRE environments.

- Analytical and detail-oriented, with a focus on system reliability, observability, and operational quality.

- Fluent English (C1) and proficiency in French or Dutch (B2) to engage effectively with local and international teams.

Education & Continuous Learning:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with a focus on operational resilience, automation, or system engineering.
