  • Act as software project lead, collaborating closely with project system engineers at a technical level to ensure accurate capture of software requirements, as well as full traceability and testability
  • Design, manage, and deliver software components (CSCIs) for flight simulation training devices from concept through to completion

Requirements

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of three years' experience in software development
  • Experience in C++ development for desktop applications and back-end systems
  • Familiarity with aircraft avionics and requirement-based software development standards (e.g., MIL-STD-498, IEEE/EIA 12207) is an advantage
  • Experience with ground-based training systems is considered a plus
  • Ability to work autonomously within Agile/Scrum environments, effectively prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Fluent in English (C1) written and spoken; German language skills are a plus, along with strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
