Job description

As a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes Administration and Content Delivery Network, you mission will be twofold. On one hand, you will assist the Container Service Manager in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Containers infrastructure and automation processes on premises & on public cloud. On the other hand, you will design, implement, and maintain the Swatch Group's Content Delivery Network solution to ensure optimal performance and scalability of our digital platforms.

Both missions will require that you work closely with internal teams and external providers to integrate these services into our infrastructure, automate workflows, and enhance global content distribution for Swatch Group brands.

Your Responsibilities :

Global (Kubernetes and CDN)

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the development and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of both services.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and provide all levels of support to Swatch Group entities.

Kubernetes

  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms.
  • Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and capacity of containers environments.
  • Develop and maintain web interfaces for internal tools and applications.

Content Delivery Network

  • Design, deploy, and optimize CDN solutions for high availability and low latency.
  • Implement edge caching strategies, traffic offload, and acceleration techniques to improve web performance.
  • Monitor and analyze CDN performance metrics and availability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or ES degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Akamai certifications (e.g., Akamai Certified Professional) are a strong plus.
  • ITIL certification is an asset.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
  • Structured, analytical, and systematic approach.
  • Strong initiative, customer orientation, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Autonomous, rigorous, and enthusiastic.

Professional Requirements

  • Expertise in either Kubernetes technologies or Akamai CDN solutions.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure pipelines, Github actions).
  • Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and their CDN integrations.
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic stack).
  • Understanding of security best practices for CDN and DevOps environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

How to Communicate

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • French is a plus.
