Join the newly established Systems Centre of Competence (CoC) within TADY. As part of our Highly Integrated Systems (HIS) domain, you will help shape the future of Air Power systems. We are a cross-functional team dedicated to evolving how we design, develop, and certify multisystem architectures through digitisation and modular integration.
We are looking for a collaborative DevOps professional to design and maintain our on-premise Kubernetes clusters. You will play a vital role in ensuring our infrastructure is secure, scalable, and prepared for the next generation of aerospace technology., * Kubernetes & Containerisation: Design, implement, and maintain secure Kubernetes clusters on-premise. You will manage deployments, services, and networking using Docker and Linux containers.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use tools like Ansible for configuration and Terraform for provisioning to automate and streamline our infrastructure.
- Environment Management: Manage code and configurations within local repositories and air-gapped environments, ensuring dependencies are handled securely.
- Systems Administration: Ensure robust performance across both Linux and Windows operating systems, handling troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
- Networking & Storage: Configure secure network connections (SSH, HTTPS) and manage virtualised storage solutions to ensure data integrity.
- Monitoring & Scripting: Set up centralised logging and alerting systems to monitor infrastructure health. Use Python and Bash to automate repetitive tasks and improve team efficiency.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with development and operations teams to provide sustainable, compliant solutions that meet our evolving business needs.
Requirements
- Technical Background: A degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent practical experience in a DevOps/Systems environment.
- Kubernetes Expertise: Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters, including cluster management and networking.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows administration.
- Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with network protocols and managing secure connections or firewalls.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in secure, air-gapped environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in English. Knowledge of German and/or French would be an advantage.
Additional Skills We Value
- Deep understanding of network security and threat mitigation.
- Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
