Security Engineer - Palo Alto, Terraform
Up to £750 per day (Inside IR35)
Remote

My client is looking for a hand's on Security Engineer with strong expertise in building and automating secure network infrastructure.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer within large complex organisations
- Strong background in policy-based security controls, including: Data Loss Prevention (DLP), TLS/SSL inspection policies, SASE platforms - ideally Palo Alto Prisma and/or Zscaler
- Hands-on experience with network security technologies: firewalls, VPN, Zero Trust, SD-WAN
- Proficiency with Palo Alto (VM-Series) and related security tooling
- Good understanding of IAM and PAM/PIM solutions
- Experience performing incident response, troubleshooting, and security operations
- Familiarity with IaC (Terraform) and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of cloud security (Azure or GCP)
- Experience integrating SIEM platforms
- Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and SD-WAN optimization
