Job description
Join our Hardware Engineering Team and take technical ownership of complex NPI projects-from concept through to production. You'll design high-performance embedded products including SBCs, graphics cards, sensor processing modules and rugged network switches built for extreme environments.
What you'll do
- Lead hardware design projects and define engineering requirements
- Deliver integrated hardware, software and mechanical solutions
- Own component selection, schematic capture and PCB layout reviews
- Develop and verify FPGAs (VHDL/Verilog)
- Drive design reviews, documentation and rigorous verification
- Define production test strategies and support manufacturing handover
- Provide lifecycle support and act as technical authority across projects
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in Electronic Engineering
- Strong background in complex electronic hardware design
- Excellent understanding of embedded systems & computer architectures
- Experience with high-speed interfaces (DDR4, multi-GHz serial, USB, Ethernet)
- FPGA/SoC development skills
- Proficiency with schematic capture tools (e.g., Mentor Dx-Designer)
- Strong problem-solving, leadership and communication skills
- Experience designing for wide temp ranges (-40°C to +85°C)
