Software Test Engineer

• Build and test software to support core products and internal systems
• Produce and maintain software build and test specifications
• Work collaboratively across teams to improve the testability and quality of software
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, customers, and technical partners on software-related matters
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and practices
• Undertake additional project or testing tasks as required by management

• At least 1 year of practical experience testing software for PCs running Windows
• Experience writing test plans, specifications, and reports
• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages to assist with automated testing and builds
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, * Experience in building software and software installers
• Previous work in a technical or engineering organisation
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and overseas to support testing and deployment activities, * Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), * A proactive team player with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently while contributing to a wider technical team
• Flexible, professional, and comfortable engaging with colleagues and clients at all levels
