Contract: Full-time, Permanent (39 hours per week)About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a highly organised and detail-focused Document Controller to join our team in Dunfermline. This is a key position responsible for overseeing the management, control and governance of company and project documentation, ensuring all information is accurate, secure, compliant and easily accessible.The successful Document Controller will play a central role in supporting operational efficiency by maintaining structured systems, improving document workflows and ensuring teams have access to reliable and up-to-date information.Key ResponsibilitiesDocument Control & Information Governance\tLead and manage document control systems and company databases.\tDevelop and maintain procedures relating to document integrity, classification, compliance and security.\tOversee version control, metadata standards and structured archiving processes.\tManage the creation and maintenance of both digital and physical project files.\tControl QA/QC documentation from manufacturing and installation phases.\tMaintain strict confidentiality of sensitive project and company documentation.\tReview and implement project documentation in line with BIM protocols and required industry standards.\tIdentify improvements to existing document control processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.Team Leadership\tOversee and support the document control team, providing guidance, structure and development.\tSet clear objectives and ensure best practice document control standards are maintained across the organisation.\tWork closely with the document control team to prepare and issue Operation & Maintenance manuals at project completion.Data & Systems Management\tSupport reporting functions by ensuring structured, accurate and accessible data.\tIntroduce and manage data capture tools to monitor and report on:\t\t\tCarbon emissions\t\tTraining compliance\t\tQuality control metrics\t\t\tCollaborate with Senior
Requirements
