Job description
The User Experience Designer (UXD) is responsible for creating leading edge, goal-directed design solutions for website, including the design of responsive web applications, mobile applications, and HTML content pages. This is a highly collaborative role working closely with other UXD, User Interface Designers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers and business Stakeholders., · Deliver on project requirements by researching, designing, prototyping and testing design solutions for an ecommerce platform
· Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and written documentation to communicate interface elements and interactions
· Provide elegant solutions to design problems that balance user goals with business requirements and technical limitations
· Work with cross-functional team members to promote designs that are both technically feasible and resource economical
· Analyze and leverage user research, customer feedback, site metrics and usability findings to tailor interfaces to meet specific needs and objectives
· Read, analyze and understand documents that provide information used in the course of projects (requirements, surveys, reports, etc.)
· Manage time and schedule in order to meet, and exceed commitment to project delivery.
Requirements
· Ability to work cross-functionally
· Knowledge of user research and usability testing
· Strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadline deliverables
· Proficient with UX software like Axure and Sketch
· Superior verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external customers
· Highly effective teamwork and interpersonal skills with wide target audiences
· Strong work ethic, flexibility and aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is preferred
