Job description
We are looking for a Front-End Developer / Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain reliable software solutions that support our trading platform and internal systems. You will work closely with product owners, business analysts, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality applications.
Your mission is to deliver robust software, improve development processes, and ensure operational stability through testing, automation, and continuous improvement. You will contribute across the full development lifecycle - from analysis and proof of concepts to implementation and maintenance.
This is a hands-on role in a fintech environment, ideal for someone who combines strong technical skills with a structured approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
What you'll do:
- Develop, maintain, and improve software products, features, and application-level infrastructure.
- Build proof of concepts to evaluate new ideas and technologies.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Investigate issues, fix bugs, and ensure system reliability.
- Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and acceptance).
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
- Design and document solutions, workflows, and system behavior.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align development with business needs.
- Support project planning and prioritize tasks together with the business.
- Automate internal tools and optimize development processes.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Web development?, * Experience in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming concepts
- Knowledge of web development concepts (HTTP, REST, HTML)
- Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL
- Experience with unit testing
- Basic system analysis, requirements engineering, and design skills
- Working knowledge of containers (e.g., Docker)
- Experience with distributed version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows
- Familiarity with issue management and ticketing systems
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Nice to have:
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience in the financial sector or with trading
