Job description
As a Junior Data Analyst within the Marketing Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in helping the leadership team make better data-driven decisions. You will own a number of important data products (dashboards, business processes, etc.) with touchpoints across multiple departments, and will assist in developing the data strategy at Westwing. This position is permanent and based in Munich., * Provide analytical support across several business domains, answering both ad-hoc and recurring data requests
- Build, maintain, and own dashboards and reports that track performance, efficiency, and growth
- Take ownership of reporting processes, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability
- Automate data flows, analyses, and recurring reporting to improve scalability and reduce manual effort, including leveraging AI-driven tools and advanced analytics where appropriate
- Translate business questions into structured analyses and clear insights
- Support the development and refinement of channel and business strategies through data-driven recommendations
- Proactively collaborate with stakeholders, following up on open topics and driving analytical initiatives forward
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spark?, * Initial professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related quantitative field
- Solid SQL skills and experience with structured datasets, combined with BI tools, cloud data warehouses, or modern analytics stacks
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn vague questions into clear, testable analyses and deliver insights even with imperfect data
- Experience building dashboards and reports, with Python for analysis or automation considered a significant plus
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach in fast-paced environments, ideally with initial exposure to marketing, e-commerce, or performance analytics
