Job description
As Senior Digital Analyst, you will own analytics tracking and measurement across web and mobile apps. You will ensure clean data, reliable tracking, and scalable measurement setups that support product, marketing, and business decisions. You will work closely with engineers and stakeholders to design, validate, and improve our analytics foundation. This position is permanent and located in Munich (Germany).
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead analytics implementation projects across web and mobile applications using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Firebase, BigQuery, and AppsFlyer.

Design and maintain robust data tracking frameworks aligned with business objectives and KPIs.

Ensure data accuracy, governance, and compliance across all digital platforms.

Partner with developers to validate and debug tracking implementations, leveraging your foundational JavaScript knowledge.

Manage and optimize server-side tagging and advanced event-tracking setups.

Use SQL and BigQuery to validate data pipelines, perform QA, and support analytics reporting.

Design tracking schemas that support AI-ready data structures (clean events, consistent parameters, feature-rich datasets).

Act as a strategic partner to marketing, product, and engineering teams to define measurement strategies for new features and campaigns.

Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and implementation specialists.

Communicate implementation progress, data issues, and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Apply AI-assisted analytics workflows to accelerate tagging QA, data validation, and troubleshooting (e.g., anomaly detection, automated checks)
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * 7+ years of hands-on experience in digital analytics implementation or a similar technical analytics role
- Strong expertise in GA4 (web & app), Google Tag Manager (web & server-side), Firebase, BigQuery (SQL), and mobile MMPs (e.g. AppsFlyer)
- Deep understanding of web and app tracking setups, including SDKs, event models, data layers, and user journeys
- Solid JavaScript and SQL skills to customize tags and validate data quality
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional analytics projects end to end
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Confident user of AI tools to scale analytics delivery, automation, and documentation
- Nice to have: experience with privacy-first tracking (GDPR, Consent Mode), marketing tech platforms, CI/CD or API-based tagging, and enterprise or multi-market setups
