Graduate Design Engineer

Reporting to the Design/Engineering team, the Lighting Design Assistant will support the production of lighting calculations, quotations and general office coordination, assisting projects from initial enquiry through to order processing., * Produce lighting calculations using Relux/Dialux software (full training provided)

• Assist in preparing quotations using Sage
• Support client liaison via telephone and email
• Interpret basic technical drawings and project specifications
• Provide general administrative support to the design and sales teams
• Assist with document preparation using Adobe software where required

• Graduate or A-Level qualified candidate (Engineering, Design, Architecture or similar preferred)
• Interest in engineering, technical design or lighting
• Experience with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) desirable
• CAD knowledge beneficial but not essential
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and professional telephone manner
• Efficient, proactive and able to manage workload effectively
• Able to commute to the Lancing (BN15) area
