Job description
Enea are looking for recent software engineering graduates to immediately join our experienced DevOps team (hybrid working). You'll be part of the engineering team developing our massive containerised multi-region distributed database deployed at 5G telecom service providers. You'll learn on the job about 5G technologies, C/C++ distributed databases, and securely integrating them with cloud operations using Gitlab, Azure, Openshift, Openstack, and Kubernetes. You'll collaborate with other engineering and customer teams both local to Belfast and remote across Europe, Asia, and America., * Participate in the Specification, Design, and Planning of upcoming features
- Maintain our internal cloud platforms (such as OpenStack, Openshift, Kubernetes, Gitlab)
- Investigate and troubleshoot both internal and customer platforms
- Work in a multifunctional team with other Developers, Test Engineers, and Architects
- Document, Develop, and Test software and deployments on Kubernetes, Software Developer Locations Belfast, United Kingdom Remote status Hybrid
Requirements
Do you have experience in TCP?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * BSc Degree (2.1 or higher) or equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline
- Git source control
- Database systems, networking, and programming (preferably C++)
- Linux (comfortable with cmd line), * Network protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP, HTTP/RestAPIs, LDAP)
- Linux administration
- Cloud Technologies
- GitLab for GitOps and CI/CD
- Scripting (e.g. python, BASH), working with asynchronous / event driven programming
