Endeavour Recruitment and their client are seeking a Front End Developer (React Native) to join an innovative digital health technology organisation emerging from leading UK academic research. The company is developing an AI-powered platform designed to support individuals living with chronic conditions, combining clinical evidence, behavioural science, and applied artificial intelligence to deliver meaningful, real-world outcomes. The platform connects complex clinical data with everyday patient experiences through intuitive mobile applications. As the organisation transitions from research foundations into wider deployment, the engineering team is expanding to support scalable growth. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping a patient-facing product within a regulated healthcare environment., This is a fully remote, long-term contract opportunity for an experienced Front End Developer with strong React Native expertise. You will be responsible for crafting the mobile experience patients interact with daily, translating complex healthcare data into intuitive, accessible, and reliable user interfaces. The role requires strong technical capability, performance optimisation skills, and a deep understanding of mobile architecture and usability. This position goes beyond feature implementation; you will contribute to how the product experience is designed, refined, and scaled., Build high-quality React Native components for iOS and Android Translate designs into intuitive, accessible user experiences Optimise application performance, responsiveness, and stability Integrate Back End APIs and manage application state effectively Develop data visualisations that help users interpret trends clearly Collaborate closely with designers, clinicians, and product stakeholders Support release processes and platform-specific requirements

3+ years of React Native experience with production applications Strong TypeScript and modern JavaScript skills Deep understanding of React Native internals Experience with state management solutions Experience testing React Native applications (Jest, Testing Library, Detox or similar) Ability to debug native mobile behaviour when required Strong UI/UX instincts and accessibility awareness

Desirable Experience

Experience in healthcare or wellness applications Familiarity with HealthKit, Google Fit, or wearable integrations Experience with animation and interaction libraries (eg, Reanimated, Lottie) Push notifications and background task handling Mobile security best practices
