Job description

We're looking for a skilled individual contributor who can independently own operational execution while collaborating closely on strategic initiatives. You'll design and own production-grade Data Models, contribute to scale our Data Platform, ensure Web Tracking consistency, and translate complex business questions into structured Analytical Solutions. You think in terms of data products and data consumers, designing solutions that are scalable and reusable by the other teams.

DUTIES ON DECK

Data Modeling & Engineering

  • Design, build, and own efficient, production-grade data models (SQL-native, BigQuery-centric).
  • Deliver well-defined, tested, documented, and code-reviewed data products.
  • Implement robust orchestration, including setting up data tests, alerting and monitoring pipelines.
  • Connect APIs and external data sources into our Data Lakes and Data Warehouse.
  • Apply Git version control and PR practices.

Business-Facing Analytics

  • Translate business questions into well structured actionable analysis.
  • Deliver insights through A/B testing, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, CRO, root cause analysis using GA4 or BigQuery.
  • Ad hoc build basic predictive models to perform hypothesis testing.
  • Create and maintain clear data documentation and metric definitions.

Web Tracking & Attribution

  • Ensure consistency of event-based Web Tracking across GA4 and BigQuery.
  • Support peer Data Analytics Engineers and Web Analysts in debugging inconsistencies across frontend, backend, and analytics layers.
  • Work with attribution logic (UTMs, click IDs, conversion flows).
  • Translate Marketing, Content, and Product raw data into actionable insights.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Web analytics?, If you're passionate about travel, thrive at the intersection of data modeling, web tracking, and business-facing analytics, and want to build scalable data products that empower teams across the company, we'd love to welcome you aboard., * Strong SQL expertise and deep knowledge of data modeling principles.

  • Extensive experience with Google BigQuery.
  • Experience building production-grade data models.
  • Solid understanding of data testing & anomaly detection.
  • Experience with modern data stacks (Y42, dbt Cloud, Dagster, or similar).

Data Engineering

  • Ability to work with Python, set up API integrations and external connections.
  • Technical documentation literacy.
  • Good GIT and PR practices.
  • Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow or similar).
  • Strong understanding of data reliability and monitoring.

Data Analytics

  • Experience with A/B testing, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, CRO.
  • Hypothesis testing and structured analytical thinking.
  • Strong validation mindset (sanity checks, reconciliation, edge cases).
  • Can complete analysis using several tools including GA4, BigQuery and Google Sheets.
  • Good data visualisation skills.

Web Tracking Literacy

  • Solid understanding of GA4 events & BigQuery export schema.
  • Knowledge of attribution logic and conversion flows.
  • Ability to debug tracking autonomously., * Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Cloud literacy (understanding of IAM & Role-Based Access, Billing, Cloud Storage, Cloud Compute).
  • Travel industry experience.
  • AI and automation frameworks experience.
