Job description

Ready to shape the future of financial reporting at Siemens? As a Senior SAP Finance Process & Reporting Specialist (f/m/d) in Erlangen or Berlin, you'll take ownership of month-end closings, optimize SAP processes, and drive innovation hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams - bring your expertise and make an impact!, * You serve as the primary contact for value flow questions, advising and supporting colleagues in accounting, IT, and internal service providers on finance process-related topics

  • You independently manage monthly closing and reporting processes, performing regular controls to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting across entities
  • Furthermore, you analyze and resolve technical issues involving multiple SAP modules (FI, CO, PS, SD, MM) to guarantee reliable financial data integrity
  • In close collaboration with business units, IT, and governance teams, you implement tailored solutions that drive harmonization, automation, and digitalization of accounting processes
  • You are validating data in FI-/CO-Module and COPA, initiating reconciliations with dash systems and corrective actions in cross-functional collaboration
  • Additionally, you contribute to M&A activities and other special projects related to accounting by taking on partial responsibility in reorganizations and migrations

Requirements

Do you have experience in Project management?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Education: You hold a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance/Accounting or a comparable field and possess extensive professional experience in finance

  • Experience & Skills:
  • Deep expertise in SAP systems, especially modules FI and CO; knowledge of PS, SD, and MM modules is desirable
  • Profound understanding of value flows, accounting processes, and Siemens-specific requirements
  • Experience in working in an international, cross functional environment
  • Strong project management and leadership experience as well as affinity for digitalization topics
  • Ways of working: You distinguish yourself through analytical strength, critical thinking, solution orientation, efficient communication, initiative, and the ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Languages: Fluent English skills are required; good German skills are a plus
