Job description

We're seeking an experienced IS Solutions Developer to support enterprise application development using modern .NET technologies. Requirements

  • .NET 6+ / C#: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience building robust, scalable web applications using modern .NET frameworks. The ideal candidate should demonstrate deep knowledge of C#, architectural patterns, and best practices in enterprise-level development.
  • Blazor Server: Solid understanding and practical experience with Blazor Server for developing rich, interactive user interfaces. Ability to structure components effectively and optimise performance is key.
  • RESTful APIs: At least 5 years of experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs, ideally using ASP.NET Core. Candidates should be confident in handling authentication, error management, and data transformation within API-driven architectures.
  • SQL: Minimum 3 years of experience writing and optimising SQL queries. Strong ability to design and interact with relational databases, including stored procedures, indexing strategies, and performance tuning. Familiarity with SQL Server or similar platforms is essential.
  • Git & CI/CD: Comfortable working with Git and Azure DevOps (or equivalent tools) for source control, branching strategies, and automated build/deployment pipelines. Should be confident managing code repositories and contributing to continuous integration workflows.
  • Agile: Solid understanding and practical experience working within Agile frameworks, particularly in sprint-based development cycles. A critical requirement is the ability to proactively seek out missing information, clarify ambiguous requirements, and ensure a thorough understanding of assigned tasks before beginning development. Strong communication and collaboration skills are vital to navigate evolving project needs.
