Job description
You'll be reporting into one of our Engineering Managers, and mentored day-day by two System Engineers.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Contribute to our production platform using IaC and assist in building and maintaining our systems.
- Be involved from ideation to deployment to operations as we build key features for our platform and product.
- Contribute to technical discussions to ensure that Unmind is always using the most appropriate technologies and tools for the job.
- Develop an understanding of our DevSecTestOps ethos and wider DevOps culture
- In time, you'll join the out of hours on-call rota to help troubleshoot disruption to our platform, However, a basic understanding of some of the following will be needed for this position:
- Infrastructure-as-code (eg Terraform) and version control systems (eg, git)
- Cloud computing services (eg AWS, GoogleCloud, Azure)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, VPNs)
- Observability practices and tools
- Basic programming skills in a language (of your choice)
