Job description

We are currently recruiting a Salesforce Technical Architect to provide hands- on architectural leadership across a Salesforce platform serving internal and external users in a regulated environment.

This is not a purely advisory role - architecture documentation must be grounded in real, tested solutions proven through hands-on implementation.

This role is based in London and requires travel to the client's office 2 times/ week

Some of your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Define end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture aligned to business needs, platform strategy, and regulatory constraints. You will present architecture proposals and design decisions to technical and governance forums.
  • Design and build Proofs of Concept personally to validate architectural patterns, technical feasibility, and non-functional requirements.
  • Define and enforce architectural guardrails, patterns, and standards for Salesforce development teams. You will review significant technical designs and data model changes for architectural alignment and downstream impact.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and delivery teams to ensure architecture is practical and deliverable.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Salesforce?, o Platform Developer I, * Salesforce technical architecture capability in enterprise environments.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with:

o Apex

o Lightning Web Components (LWC) / Aura

o Salesforce configuration and data model design

  • Architectural knowledge of

o Salesforce platform architecture

o Service Cloud and Experience Cloud

o Security, identity, and access controls

o Data model remediation and refactoring

  • Proven ability to produce clear, governance-ready architecture documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to senior and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working within regulated or audit-heavy environments.
