Senior System Engineer

In this role you will be a development expert for SAP based IT Enterprise Quality Solutions. Your focus will be on the development of innovative applications according to the overall Laboratory Information Management System (OneLIMS) Roadmap.

As part of our IT O&L Enterprise Quality Solutions Teams, you will collaborate closely with the business units and external partners to plan, design, and implement the required Quality solutions for Boehringer Ingelheim., * In your new role, you will serve as an expert for developing quality applications based on modern SAP technology within the quality area.

• Moreover, you will design and develop modern SAP UI5/Fiori applications and OData services, ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces aligned with SAP standards.
• You will implement and maintain backend logic using ABAP and CDS views, enabling efficient data models and service integration.
• Your responsibilities will include managing development environments, overseeing version control, and performing testing activities, while ensuring compliance with GxP and quality standards.
• Coordination with external partners and the leadership of mid-size projects are key responsibilities, including the oversight of change and transport management through SAP Solution Manager.

Do you have experience in Communication skills?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics or comparable or Bachelor´s degree with several years of relevant working experiences

• Strong technical and solution design capabilities
• Excellent understanding of relevant SAP technologies (Fiori, OData & SAP Gateway, ABAP)
• Basic configuration and customization in SAP QM as well as module knowledge would be an asset
• Team player and networker with intercultural experience
• Excellent presentation and communication skills on a professional level in English and German (verbal and written)
