Job description

  • Service Ownership: Design, build, and maintain robust microservices across the full stack. You own the lifecycle of the features you ship.
  • Engineering Quality: Write clean, maintainable code supported by automated testing. We champion TDD/BDD practices to ensure long-term system stability.
  • Product Collaboration: Work closely within a squad of developers, POs, and PMs to translate user needs into functional, high-performance software.
  • Modern Delivery: Leverage cloud-based CI/CD pipelines to deploy frequently and safely, ensuring data persistence and integrity across Postgres and MongoDB.
  • Continuous Evolution: Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions, contributing to a culture where making mistakes is seen as a vital part of the learning process.

Requirements

We are looking for a product-minded Software Engineer II to build and scale services within a multidisciplinary team. You are someone who takes deep ownership of your code, from initial design to production monitoring. While our primary stack involves Python, TypeScript (React), and AWS, we are technology agnostic; we value core engineering principles and the ability to learn new tools over mastery of a single language., * Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience with a track record of running services in a production environment.

  • Tech-Agnostic Mindset: Proficiency in Python and TypeScript is preferred, but we value engineers who can adapt to the best tool for the job.
  • Fintech & Crypto: A strong interest or previous experience in Financial Services or the Crypto/Blockchain ecosystem is a significant advantage.
  • Data & Cloud: Practical experience with relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, MongoDB) and familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
  • Agile Fluency: Experience working in Agile team structures, moving quickly while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Analytical Mindset: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and a desire to understand the business logic behind the code.
