Junior Data Engineer (Extern)

The Data Engineer role at Porsche Engineering Romania is essential to digitalization transformation, providing the technical foundation for AI solutions. Working in a SAFe environment, the role supports digital transformation by designing data models, building reliable data pipelines, and ensuring high data quality.

• You will design and implement application data models
• You will integrate and process data from various sources
• You will develop automated data extraction, transformation, and integration pipelines
• You will ensure data quality and lineage
• You will orchestrate data architectures for cross-functional teams
• You will collaborate with international project teams

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or an equivalent education
• You have experience with SQL
• You have knowledge of software development for data pipelines and visualization
• You are familiar with data management and pipeline deployment
• You have programming experience (Python)
• You have interest in building cloud-based data transformation pipelines
• You want to develop data-lake platforms skills (Azure Databricks)
• You have knowledge of CI/CD and containerization tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• You speak English fluently; knowledge of German is considered a plus
• You're a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
