Job description
As a Product Owner (f/m/d) at finbyte, you will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of digital products, primarily web and mobile applications developed for our clients. You will translate business and user needs into clear requirements, define priorities, and ensure structured and high-quality delivery together with cross-functional teams. You act as the central product authority, balancing business objectives, technical feasibility, and user value., * Define, own, and continuously refine the product vision and roadmap
- Lead requirement and discovery workshops with clients and stakeholders
- Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and a prioritized backlog
- Take ownership of prioritization decisions and scope management
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept to release and improvement
- Act as the central product contact for clients and delivery teams
- Ensure compliance with agreed quality standards and delivery timelines
- Collaborate closely with the development teams
- Maintain clear and up-to-date product documentation
- Create, enhance and maintain AI prompts
Requirements
Do you have experience in Product development?, * Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role
- Strong understanding of agile product development and software delivery
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in client-facing environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Native-level German (C2) and fluent English (C1 or higher) are mandatory
- Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin (hybrid working model)
