As an M365 Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the DVLA?s digital workplace by providing technical expertise across the full Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
You will maintain, optimise, and enhance key Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Defender, Purview, Power Platform, and the M365 wider suite. Your work will help ensure these services remain secure, scalable, and aligned with the needs of the organisation. A key part of the role involves using PowerShell to automate routine tasks, streamline administration, and improve the efficiency and consistency of M365 operations.
The role focuses on technical support, administration, and solution enablement, empowering teams across the organisation to make effective use of Microsoft 365 tools. You will work closely with business areas, including our Strategy and Policy teams, to ensure staff have the reliable, well-managed platforms needed to deliver engaging, collaborative, and efficient digital workplace experiences.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren?t limited to:
- Ensure services are delivered and used as required
- Work with and support colleagues to provide infrastructure services., You will also be required to sit a technical exercise to assess the following technical criteria - Coding & scripting (awareness)

Requirements

- Deep Technical Understanding of Microsoft 365 Services
- Strong Troubleshooting & Analytical Skills
- Works confidently with other teams and builds strong rapport
