Job description

Join DKB Code Factory's Kreditwelt/Ablage team as a Junior Frontend Engineer and take ownership of the frontend code powering the loan process for business customers. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a critical product within a tech hub embedded in one of Germany's largest banks. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product owners to build maintainable, user-centric frontend solutions that make a real impact., * Own and maintain frontend code, promoting best practices and high code quality.

  • Collaborate with UX designers to implement accessible, user-friendly interfaces aligned with design standards.
  • Deliver assigned features of low to medium complexity predictably and on time.
  • Lead the migration of the frontend component library to a modern design system with comprehensive test coverage.
  • Develop and execute a plan to migrate end-to-end tests to Playwright, improving automation reliability.
  • Participate actively in refinement meetings, code reviews, and team knowledge sharing.
  • Work closely with backend engineers to clarify API contracts and ensure seamless integration.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vue.js?, * Proven experience with frontend development using Typescript and Vue.js.

  • Familiarity with styled components, Storybook, and Vitest.
  • Solid understanding of testing frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver features on time with attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional teams.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Basic knowledge or willingness to learn about internationalisation (i18n) best practices.
  • Mid-level German speaking skills or above
