Job description
- Formulating and communicating the product vision as well as prioritizing the product backlog for QA and test automation to create a transparent, value-driven roadmap
- Defining QA processes independently and selecting appropriate tooling with a strong focus on in-depth end-to-end testing of the entire cloud solution
- Designing a comprehensive test strategy and, where necessary, engaging in active development to build test environments and automated test pipelines
- Acting as a central interface between development, operations, and internal stakeholders to create acceptance for new test processes and to moderate technical discussions effectively.
- Managing test cases and realistic test data systematically, as well as preparing test-relevant documentation for internal and external audits (e.g., by the BSI) in coordination with the Information Security team
- Reviewing product components prior to production release and providing meaningful reporting and KPIs to continuously measure product quality
Requirements
- Several years of proven experience in software quality assurance and test automation, ideally combined with solid practical experience in product ownership or agile requirements management
- A solid fundamental understanding of modern cloud architectures as well as confident handling of Linux-based systems and open-source technologies
- Profound knowledge of common frameworks for end-to-end testing and test automation, or the strong motivation and willingness to quickly acquire these skills within our highly technical environment
- Excellent communication skills to act as a mediating interface between various teams, coupled with a structured approach to complex systemic challenges
- A high awareness of IT security and quality standards, optimally with initial exposure to IT audits or regulatory requirements
- Good German and fluent English skills as well as a mandatory permanent residence in Germany
