Java Developer

As a Java Developer, you ll work on challenging projects for leading clients in the Benelux, often close to home. You combine technical depth with consultancy skills and work on scalable backend solutions for organizations in the middle of their digital transformation.

Sometimes you help make a platform future-proof. Sometimes you build something completely new. Always with quality as the starting point.

What you ll do

• Design, build, and optimize backend systems in Java (mostly Spring Boot).Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS and Azure.

• Contributing to modern architectures such as microservices, event-driven systems, and serverless components (AWS Lambda, ECS/EKS).

• Collaborating with colleagues, architects, and clients to design future-proof technical solutions. Contribute to sustainable software architectures.

• Integrating data-driven components and AI/ML pipelines into applications. CI/CD and DevOps practices using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform/CloudFormation.

• 5+ years of Java experience (or a strong mid-level developer with ambition).
• In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS and Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.Consultancy skills: you can easily switch between tech and business.
• Work with data processing, data engineering workflows, and basic AI/ML concepts or tools.
• Thrive in a consultancy role by communicating clearly and collaborating effectively with clients and teams.
• Continuously grow your expertise in cloud, data, AI, and consulting.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to boost productivity and improve code quality.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
