Job description

  1. Ecosystem Architecture & "The Engine"
  • System Design: Build the core backend infrastructure that connects LLMs, internal data, and third-party marketing APIs into a single, cohesive ecosystem.
  • Development Environment: Utilise a modern stack (including Claude, Replit, Python, Node.js, n8n etc) to develop, test, and deploy marketing agents and automation scripts.
  • Data Orchestration: Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and vector databases to ensure our AI agents are grounded in client-specific data and real-time market insights.
  1. Marketing Agent Development
  • SEO Agents: Build agents capable of autonomous keyword research, content gap analysis, and technical auditing and optimisation.
  • PPC & Paid Social Agents: Develop systems for autonomous bid management, creative testing, and real-time budget reallocation based on performance triggers.
  • Content & Strategy Agents: Create "intelligent" agents that can synthesise brand voice, historical performance, and trend data to produce high-level strategy and creative assets.
  • Discovery & Sales Agents: Automating the heavy lifting of lead qualification, CRM management (Zoho One), and drafting bespoke growth strategies for ambitious prospects.
  • Integrated Reporting Agents: Building agents that crawl disparate data sources to provide real-time, narrative-driven insights that go beyond standard dashboards.
  1. Implementation & Refinement
  • The "Player-Coach" Loop: Work directly with our specialist marketing teams to "dogfood" your creations, gathering feedback and refining the tech until it outperforms traditional manual methods.
  • Automation Logic: Beyond simple AI, you will build complex workflows (via Make.com, n8n, or custom code) that eliminate administrative friction across the agency.
  1. Commercialisation & Productisation
  • Strategy Support: Partner with agency leadership to define how these tools are pitched and sold to clients as a "tech-plus-talent" offering.
  • Scalability: Ensure the tools you build are robust enough to be scaled across hundreds of global clients without increasing technical debt.
  • Continuous Innovation: You are the scout for the agency. It is your job to find the "next" agent, the "next" automation, and the "next" AI breakthrough that keeps Atomic one step ahead., * Autonomy: You will have the freedom to choose your tools and define your workflow, reporting directly to the leadership team.
  • Growth: This role is designed to evolve into a leadership position as we productise and scale the AI division., * Have you personally designed or deployed an autonomous AI Agentic workflow, complex automation, or a complete business ecosystem? Please briefly explain the logic, the tools used (e.g., Python, Replit, APIs), and provide a link to the project if possible.
  • In your view, what is the single biggest bottleneck in traditional SEO or PPC management that could be solved by an autonomous AI agent? How would you structure that agent to ensure it maintains a 'human' level of quality?

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, We don't expect you to be limited to specific tools, but you should be a master of the following "Toolkit":

  • Languages/Environments: Python, JavaScript/Node.js, Replit, Lovable, Claude.
  • AI/LLMs: OpenAI API (GPT-4), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini, LangChain, or AutoGPT frameworks.
  • Automation/APIs: Make.com, n8n, and deep experience with REST APIs (Ahrefs, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite).
  • Database: Knowledge of SQL and Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)., * The "Unicorn" Hybrid: You possess a deep, advanced understanding of digital marketing remits (SEO, PPC, Email, Social, PR) and the technical ability to build the systems that automate them.
  • The Builder: You have a "founder" mindset. You don't wait for a brief; you see a manual process and you build a way to kill it.
  • Agency Background: Ideally, you have worked in a marketing agency before. You understand the "Digital 360" model and the pressure of delivering client growth.
  • Analytical & Strategic: You can look at a technical problem and see the commercial opportunity. You know how to make AI "market" effectively, not just "generate text.", * Digital (Marketing) Agency: 3 years (preferred)
