Software Developer (Security Clearance eligibility required)

Flowmotion are a software development agency, specialising in JavaScript/SQL stacks, creating client-led apps within proprietary development platforms.

This permanent role is office-based in Monks Cross, York, Monday to Friday. We have on-site parking, casual dress code, and a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere.

We are offering £50k salary for an experienced (3 years+) Full Stack Developer to work on small client project teams of 3 to 10 people, with each project typically lasting between 4 and 9 months.

Our clients are major, well-known corporates and public sector bodies, such as Emergency Services, Home Office, HMRC, Foreign Office and NHS, so you will need to be eligible and willing to undergo government Security Clearance. The role will involve daily conversations with a project lead and Business Analysts, based around subjects such as HR, customer service and the ITIL framework.

We require somebody professional and ultra-reliable, who can work alongside best-in-class Business Analysts and turn their requirements into bug-free apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality corporate web-based applications
• Predominantly back-end config and development with some front-end
• Technical and UI/UX lead on corporate client projects
• Design apps that are performant and scalable for large organisations

Do you have experience in Software development?, * 3 years experience in software development

• Software development skills in at least one language
• SQL database development and admin
• Vue.js/Angular/React or similar front-end framework a distinct advantage
• Strong UI/UX skills (advanced CSS beneficial)
• Knowledge of ITIL foundation (major benefit), * Full-time UK resident for minimum of 5 years (required for security clearance)
