Software Engineer (Test)

You're a skilled software engineer with few years of experience in software development in an environment where you have worked closely with databases and/or ETL tools. Your position The WRR Finance Data Delivery Unit is part of IT Systems Risk and Finance Domain. Finance Data WRR unit is responsible for implementing and maintaining of IT applications for Finance, with the objective of delivering timely and correct financial data in order to meet dynamic and challenging regulatory and internal demands. As a Software Engineer in this team, you will work with systems which are part of the Global Financial Systems of Rabobank WRR, a complex international banking environment with a General Ledger and Finance data warehouse. You are an active member of the DevOps team with your primary focus on testing. You will be responsible for testing financial data warehouse application and regulatory reports. Communication with other IT teams and business users is essential part of your job in order to collect requirements for your test approach and get feedback on test results. Next to testing, you are capable of taking over basic activities of other specialists in a team (analysis/development/production support). You work in an international environment with diversity and contacts around the world.

Completed a bachelor or master degree in Information Technology or similar; Fluent English, * 5+ years of experience as a tester;

• Hands on experience with relational databases (for example Oracle) and SQL
• Experience with data warehouses
• Strong analytical skills; ability to pick relevant information from large amounts of data and information
