Embedded Software Consultant

We are looking for highly motivated, hands-on technical individual to support our activities in the embedded systems manufacturing group. This position will be in our growing team of deeply skilled professionals that will help the most innovative companies in Netherlands to develop, test and integrate high complexity embedded systems. These systems have a real time functioning and typically include light sources, detectors, optical and electro-optical components, fiber optics, electronics and signal processing software functioning in close collaboration with the rest of a global system.

The team functions as a link between R&D and customers and interacts with all type of activities in order to enhance process, reduce cost or find innovation breakthrough.

Main qualities requested are : Ability to work independently and also effectively as a member of a team; Be able to quickly acquire technical knowledge from documentation and on-the-job training and be capable of thoroughly investigating technical issues (analytically and hands-on in a lab); Customer support skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem solving and innovative thinking skills; Quick learner and flexibility;

Functie-eisen, Minimally a Masters Degree in Electronics or on Industrial Software development; Proficient in real time software development, testing and integration process Knowledge of main industrial tools used in Embedded systems development such as (not exhaustive list); Industrial Language of development : C, C++, Java, Assembly , ADA Scripting : PERL, Python Engineering tools : Matlab/Simulink, LabView, Doors, Quality Center, Rhapsody A minimum of 5 years of experience in Embedded systems development (development, testing or integration teams) ; Fluent in Dutch and English, written and verbal; Creative, client focused and you have strong technical skills.
