Job description

We are looking for Java Full stack Developer with Pega Based in Manchester, UK - 4-5 Days a month travel to Office

Active SC or SC Eligible Candidate

A Java Fullstack Developer with Pega expertise. These professionals are responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise applications using Pega PRPC (PegaRULES Process Commander) while utilizing Java for custom integrations and Back End services., * Pega Development: Design and implement BPM solutions, case types, workflows, and rule components (rulesets, classes, flows) using Pega 8.x.

  • Java Backend Development: Develop custom Java components for complex business logic, and interact with Middleware services such as Hazelcast (IMDG, caching).
  • Integration: Build and consume REST/SOAP connectors, MQ/JMS, and integrate with relational databases (SQL, Oracle) or Mainframe systems (DB2, CICS).
  • Front-end Development: Create user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS/Angular).
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze and debug high-severity production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and optimize performance.
  • Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Pega Platform: Strong proficiency in Pega PRPC (8.x preferred), UI design, and data modeling.
  • Java/J2EE: Deep understanding of Java Core, Object-Oriented Programming, and web technologies.
  • Front-end: JavaScript, ES6, ReactJS or Angular, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Integration & Database: RESTful APIs, SOAP, SQL, PL/SQL.
  • DevOps/Tooling: Git, CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps), Agile/Scrum, Eclipse/IntelliJ.
  • Optional/Preferred: Knowledge of Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kafka, or Kafka-based event processing.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience: 8-10 + years of total software development experience.
  • Pega Experience: Minimum 2-3+ years of hands-on experience specifically in Pega development.
