Job description
In this role you will be working on a hybrid basis, with 1 x office day required at our Head Office in Pontypool each week. We believe in maintaining solid communication and a supportive team culture, even on the days you're not in the office. Our typical week includes:
- A daily stand-up at 9am every morning to align on priorities and blockers
- A 1-hour backlog grooming and Jira refinement session every Monday to keep work well-organised and clear
- Mid-dev check-ins and Q&A sessions every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3pm - a chance to share progress, ask questions, and catch up as a team
We aim to create an environment where developers can grow, feel supported, and have the space to do their best work. Communication is open, collaboration is encouraged, and no question is ever too small.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and Vue.js.
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the wider development team
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and fix bugs in the application
- Work on API integrations, ensuring seamless communication between systems
- Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability
- Collaborate with senior developers and designers to build high-quality features
Requirements

You're someone who has:
- A good understanding of Laravel and Vue.js.
- Experience with MySQL
- The ability to write clean, maintainable code and understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC principles, and version control workflows
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
