Job description

  • Hand assembly of PCBs and electronic components

  • Coil winding and loom preparation - wiring, crimping, wire-stripping

  • Rack and cubicle assembly and wiring

  • Soldering (Surface Mount & Through-hole) and conformal coating

  • Following technical drawings, schematics, and production instructions

  • Using both manual and automated test equipment (Fluke meters, multimeters) Test Operative

  • Assembly and testing of electrical/electronic components

  • Visual inspections of electronic and light mechanical systems

  • Use of semi-automatic test equipment and encapsulation machinery

  • Rack and cubicle assembly, coil winding, and loom preparation

  • Minor painting and finishing tasks

  • Investigating production faults and ensuring quality standards are met

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in electrical, electronic or mechanical production
  • Ability to read technical drawings, test specs and wiring diagrams
  • Skilled in manual dexterity tasks and attention to detail
  • Competence with electronic test equipment and Windows-based software
  • Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented
  • For Assemblers: Surface Mount and Through-hole soldering experience
  • For Production Operatives: ONC level or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic discipline preferred, Be consistent and persistent with finding the right role for you.
