Job description

Testing of technical upgrades

  • Undertaking manual testing to ensure all systems and products are fit for purpose including assurance that all business requirements have been met and issues resolved.
  • Ensuring stakeholders are kept up to date with testing progress and associated issues.
  • Using a strong understanding of industry techniques to complete test analysis.

Identifying system defects

  • Identifying system issues, raising fault logs and retesting as and when fixes are provided.
  • Working with different departments internally as well as external providers to resolve issues.

Producing testing documentation

  • Assisting with the development and documentation of testing approaches.
  • Creating high quality testing documentation (including test plans and scripts) which are in-line with the testing approach and ensure business and technical requirements are met.
  • Supporting Project Managers and Delivery Leads with aspects of project governance, as and when required.

Supporting a successful implementation

  • Using experience to act as a testing SME and support other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supporting the project or delivery team during the go live and the monitor & control phase, logging and resolving any go-live issues as agreed.

Providing technical support

  • Providing testing support to the business in relation to live system issues and queries.

Risk management

  • Applying a risk-based approach to testing and contributing project or product risk to working groups or delivery teams., Unlike banks, we don't have public or private shareholders which means we can invest 100% of our profits back into our business. Requirements

Do you have experience in Human resources?, We're looking for someone with recent experience in a similar role. You'll have good knowledge of testing processes and change frameworks as well as understanding and familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies. Previous financial services experience would also be beneficial., * Excellent attention to detail

  • Salary - up to £37,828 p.a. - depending on skills and experience.
