Job description

As our Senior Security Solution Architect, you are the technical authority behind our go-to-market motion - and the person who builds the practice around it. This is not a support function. You will own and develop our security advisory capability, define how we engage customers technically, and shape the frameworks and methodologies that make our approach repeatable and scalable.

You sit at the intersection of product, sales, and customer success. You stand in front of CISOs and speak their language. You design security testing strategies that become the blueprint for long-term customer engagements. And you build the playbooks, tools, and processes that allow our technical go-to-market to scale beyond you., * Own and develop our security testing advisory practice: build the frameworks, methodologies, and engagement models that help customers design and evolve their security testing programs.

  • Develop industry-specific security testing blueprints for regulated sectors (financial services, critical infrastructure, government), incorporating relevant compliance and threat contexts (FINMA, DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, CRA).
  • Define and continuously refine how we assess customer security maturity, scope engagements, and translate testing outcomes into strategic recommendations.
  • Become the internal authority on security testing best practices, emerging threats, and how our platform maps to evolving customer needs.

Technical Go-to-Market

  • Build and own the technical sales process, create the playbooks that make this repeatable.
  • Lead technical discovery and product demonstrations, tailoring each engagement to the customer's architecture, risk profile, and strategic priorities.
  • Partner with Sales on account strategy for enterprise opportunities, bringing technical credibility that accelerates trust and shortens deal cycles., * Own the technical customer relationship post-sale: define the onboarding methodology, build the review cadence, and establish how we measure and communicate value.
  • Interpret security testing results for customer stakeholders, transforming findings into actionable improvement roadmaps that demonstrate ongoing ROI.
  • Identify expansion opportunities by understanding the customer's evolving security landscape and proactively recommending program growth.
  • Channel customer insights, technical feedback, and competitive intelligence into Product to influence roadmap priorities., * Represent Bug Bounty Switzerland as a technical authority: speak at industry events, contribute to content (blogs, webinars, whitepapers), and build our reputation in the Swiss and international security community.
  • Shape our external narrative around Semantic Security Testing - help customers and the market understand why continuous, intelligence-driven testing is the future.
  • Stay ahead of the evolving threat landscape, regulatory shifts, and competitive moves to keep our positioning and advisory sharp.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with hands-on exposure to penetration testing, vulnerability management, or offensive security. You understand the craft, not just the slides.
  • Proven track record in a pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting role - you've run demos, shaped proposals, and helped close six-figure enterprise deals.
  • Deep understanding of regulated industries (financial services, critical infrastructure, government) and their compliance frameworks. You know what keeps a CISO up at night.
  • Builder mentality: you've created frameworks, playbooks, or methodologies from scratch - not just followed someone else's. You thrive when there's no blueprint yet.
  • Ability to engage at all levels: from technical deep-dives with security engineers to strategic conversations with CISOs and board-level stakeholders.
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written). French is a strong plus.
  • Based in Switzerland with willingness to travel within DACH and Middle East for customer meetings and events.

Strong Signals

  • Experience with bug bounty platforms, crowdsourced security, or managed security testing services.
  • Background in security architecture.
  • Experience in a scale-up environment where you've helped build functions, not just fill seats.
  • Existing network in the Swiss or international enterprise security community.
  • Familiarity with security testing automation.

Benefits & conditions

  • Build the practice: You won't inherit a playbook - you'll create one. This role has direct impact on how we go to market, how customers experience our product, and how our security advisory evolves.
  • Category-defining work: Help shape how enterprises think about and buy security testing. We're not competing in a crowded market - we're building a new one.
  • Real authority: Work directly with enterprise customers and founders. No layers of bureaucracy, no permission-seeking - your expertise drives decisions.
  • Swiss base, international ambition: Headquartered in Switzerland with a clear path toward DACH, Middle East and broader expansion.
  • Competitive compensation: Attractive base salary, performance-based incentives tied to revenue impact, and equity participation.
