Senior DevOps Engineer API Gateway Development (all gender)

• design, implement, and optimize API architectures using Kong as an API gateway
• manage and scale API services in GCP, including load balancing, authentication (JWT, OAuth, ACLs), and monitoring
• automate CI/CD pipelines for API-driven and cloud-based applications
• implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Pulumi, preferably in GCP environments
• configure, maintain and scale the Kong API Gateway, including plugin development for extended functionalities (e.g., rate limiting, request/response transformation, and security policies)
• develop and maintain integration solutions between various software systems, databases, and cloud services

Do you have experience in Terraform?, * have strong expertise in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and experience with cloud architectures

• have hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway (configuration, plugins, scaling) as well as other API management tools (e.g., Apigee or AWS API Gateway)
• are familiar with API specifications (OpenAPI, Swagger) and API design principles, and you have experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
• have programming skills in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and ideally also in Go, Java or Node.js
• have experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• have professional-level English skills, both written and spoken
